You've heard David Letterman's Top Ten Lists. Here's the Titan Top Ten list answering the questions all Titan athletes and their parents must know.

10. Fall sports began the week of August 10^th; Winter sports begin on staggered November dates (Nov. 2 for hockey, Nov. 9^th for girls’ basketball; Nov. 16^th for boys’ basketball, competitive cheer; Nov. 19^th for bowling); Spring sports begin March 15^th

9. The Traverse City West Athletic Boosters website has most athletic information posted, along with links to various sports websites

8. The athletic office assistant, Jen Barnhart, can be reached at 933-7780; Patti Tibaldi, Athletic Director, can be reached at 933-7781.

7. Coaches and staff ask that you please pick up athletes promptly when they arrive home from away trips. Coaches generally have athletes use cell phones to call when they are fifteen to twenty minutes away from campus.

6. Practice schedules are subject to change, due to the multi-use facility we have. Your child is responsible for knowing of those changes, though we try to post practice times online.  Most coaches have an e-mail communications system.

5. All schedules, practices, cancellations, postponements are posted on www.highschoolsports.net.

4. It is recommended that all parents review the handbook with athletes in regards to violations and the implications it has on athletic participation.

3. Adult passes for all home games are $65.00; student passes for all home games are $40.00 and can be purchased in the athletic office or at the first few home games at the gate. Passes are also a benefit of membership in the Titan Club at some levels. Click here for Titan Club information.

2. ALL ATHLETES MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL DATED ON OR AFTER APRIL 15th OF THE SPRING PRIOR TO THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR TO BE ABLE TO TRY OUT.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS MHSAA RULE.
